After graduating from law school, Mr. Kline worked as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Cook County. He then became an owner of Kline’s Department Store in Chicago Heights. The store was a successful family-owned business from 1923-1995. Working in the family business helped Mr. Kline build a reputation for treating people with dignity, and he learned how to resolve disputes before they escalated to litigation. Before opening his own law practice in 1999, Mitch worked as an administrative law judge at the Illinois Human Rights Commission and as a staff attorney at the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission.
The Law Office of Mitchell A. Kline focuses on sexual harassment and employment law issues throughout the metropolitan Chicago area. We have successfully represented many sexual harassment victims and have defended small employers where an employee accused another employee of harassment. Our firm’s track record includes settling complex, multiple-party cases.
