MITCHELL KLINE WINS IN APPELLATE COURT

Soon after Mitch Kline’s client was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer, she was fired. Mitch filed a complaint in circuit court for disability discrimination and retaliation. After the employer’s attorney filed a motion to dismiss Mitch’s case, the circuit court judge granted their motion. Then Mitch appealed this decision  to the appellate court. After Mitch’s oral argument, the three appellate court judges reversed the circuit court judge’s decision. Mitch is now negotiating with the employer’s attorney to obtain a good settlement for his client.
